#YemziGirl Feature 5 (July) - Ayisha, Model & Stylist

July is our birthday month so we had to feature a special girl for the first Sunday of the month. We are proud to introduce a home girl, by way of Bournemouth and Nigeria, she's been a model since she was a toddler and this year has seen her enter the UK fashion styling scene in a major way, it's our beautiful SS16 lookbook model....

1. Hey Ayisha,  please introduce yourself

I'm Ayisha I'm a model and stylist from Bournemouth living in London.

2. What's your main hustle and what's dope about it?

I've modelled since I was 3 years old and I've always loved it, since I graduated from uni this year I had a lot more time to dedicate to it which has been great.I absolutely  love being a stylist and it feels great to do something I enjoy so much everyday. I studied international politics at uni so it was a happy accident when I fell in to styling. I started out assisting with wardrobe with various artists on their tours but now I'm working primarily in fashion sometimes crossing over into tv and film with the help of Aysh management, I'm really just trying to build on what I've done and establish my name and brand. I'm always learning and getting better both personally and professionally! :)

3. What do you get up to for fun?

Allsorts, i'm all about having fun, outside of work most things I do for fun are involving music. I love to travel a lot, go to concerts or festivals, my friends and I can have have fun anywhere to be honest.

4. What 3 thing do you love most about your city?

I'm from Bournemouth originally but have lived studied and worked in London since I was 18. I love Bournemouth for the beach, my family and and I'm grateful for growing up there. But London is where I need to be for work and where I've created my adult life and I do love it here.
